EASTER AT THE SABOS'!

This year, my parents (the usual Easter hosts!) had a work trip out of town over Easter weekend, so I hosted a brunch for the rest of our family and some friends... and Darling, of course! It was a beautiful day filled with chocolate bunnies, Easter egg hunts and pastels, so I thought I'd share some of the details with you! I spent the day cooking but luckily, my friend Dorrien (who happens to be a photographer, see his work here) was there and took some gorgeous photos for us - so here they are!

As we had quite a few guests, I combined a few tables so that I had enough seats for 14, then covered them with white table cloths and embellished with crystal encrusted runners. For décor, I always err on the side of a large amount of fresh flowers - in honor of Easter, I opted for pale green hydrangeas, pink and purple blooms, and white roses. I have a few beautiful Easter decorations from Pier 1 - like this Pink bunny, and a wreath that goes around a Hurricane candle (which I instead filled with pink fake flowers)! To top it off, I alternated pastel place settings and shimmery rustic napkins, used large purple goblets from Z Gallerie, and sprinkled floral petals over the table. It was a fun, colorful and very Easter-infused display!
